Pedersoli John Bodine Remington Rolling Block .45-70

Used and well cared for, this is a classic Remington replica that's meant for serious long distance match or hunting work and is in perfect working order. Clean and bright rifling, double set triggers, Lee Shaver Super Grade rear micrometer Vernier Soule peep sight w/Hadley eye cup and front spirit globe aperture sight, walnut but and forestock, butt stock has been cut and fitted with a lace-on Kick Killer recoil pad that results in a 14" LOP, 34" bbl, total weight is 12.8lbs. Note that there is a small scratch on the right side of the butt stock. Plano padded hard gun case, brass cleaning rod and Delrin fouling rod. As a modern replica it can be loaded with either real black powder, bp substitute powder, or any smokeless powder. Bullets used to build cartridges can be lubed or paper patched as was done back in the 19th century, or any commercial jacketed bullets or cartridges. Lubed bullets and once fired brass included - just add powder and primers. This gun is extremely accurate, has won 200 yard matches, can be well used to 1000 yds, and is right at home on the range or in the field. The gun alone sells for over $2k if you can find one available, the competition LS sights alone add over $500.

$1700 plus shipping to your FFL.
