Yep, those are good eaters. Personally I don't start walleye fishing until after the are almost done spawning. If you look at the eyes in the pic most are unspawned females. Biologists say that sportfishing has no impact on recruitment but if I do catch an unspawned hen, she goes back.

Managed a dozen crappie yesterday plus some bluegills and a perch. 60 degrees and the ice is going fast.
