Privileged to use classified?

I am a new member and attempted to respond to a classiifed. It seems I dont have privileges. How does that work?

I was and I did. I found the policy, 14 days and 25 posts. I should have looked at the stickies in that forum.
I am ok, if the moderators want to delete all this. I should have done the proper home work.

Actually, we have in place the same 25 posts/14 days on PMs to discourage people from coming to the forum just to buy/sell. IF a member should happen to sell an item to someone outside these guidelines they are on their own.
