250 gr XTP, Harvester crush rib and 70 gr of 3f Swiss. 31 degree breezy day, so I shot at 50 yards open sights.
Recoil was surprisingly modest for a 22 weight rifle. The sights are tough for these 55 year old eyes. Either peep or scope will be necessary.
Groups were quite good! 3 round groups were from 7/16 to 1 5/8.
Clean-up was a breeze. Actually easier than my Black Diamonds. Big surprise there!
Breech fouling was rather light and nothing made it back to the trigger mechanism. Sweet!
One range secession does not a trend make. But it's a good start.
I think that the 250s are the heaviest bullets I'll use in sabots. They're my favorite bullet hands down. Next time I'll chrono to see how velocities compare.
This is a fun rifle! Another good one discontinued before its time...
