Re: Remington 700ml

I have a Remington 700 ML in 54 cal. I have the Canadian 209 primer conversion, and It is a really good shooting rifle. I use T7 and Winchester 209 primers, and it does all I ask of it.

It helps if you wrap the breech plug threads with teflon tape. This reduces blowback into the bolt. Keep the bolt clean (it's not hard to disassemble), and it will be reliable.

If you go with the hunter bolt conversion, it may fully eliminate blowback into the bolt.

You bought a good rifle. I hope you got much trouble free use out of it.

Would the badgerridge 209 conversion work with Blackburn 209. I've heard great things about the stuff and can't use it in my old knight but would like to give it a shot one day

That appears to be Hunters Conversion - so maybe they are selling it for him...

You can definitely shoot BH with this conversion

I am selling hunter's conversion. Others have tried to copy it. I'm honoring the inventor. I market and install Hunter's product as if it was my own.
