Rifle to pistol

can a ml rifle be turned into a pistol? I have a lk93 I was thinking about converting if its legal and possible

As long as you local laws are ok with it there is no federal law that makes it illegal.

Once you convert it your state pistol laws will apply. In Michigan you don't need a 4473 to buy a black powder pistol but it has to be registered to carry it.

Their are a few members who have done just that. I’ve seen lk93s done as well as t/c black diamonds done. I am in the middle of one myself

A black diamond pistol? Any pics yet? I have a BD that i was thinking about putting up for sale. But i may reconsider if a pistol conversion is an option. Although Im becoming a non-fan of that slam fire setup.

Heres a Knight Disc rifle I made into a pistol.. also have the Black Diamond pistol but I have it out of the pistol stock right now and in a rifle stock as a short barreled carbine. The pistol stock for the BD was made from a walnut stock it was in.

14-15" barrel on that Knight?

Now you guys have me thinking about turning my Accura .45 into a pistol. If CVA offered the Optima pistol in .45 i wouldnt have to.

Ive got a .45 1:20 T.C Black Diamond I wouldnt mind doing it to except for cutting up another Walnut stock.
