Riton Optics was founded by Law Enforcement and Military veterans and is an American owned company even though their optics are produced in Japan.

I am pretty sure they are ALL made in Japan, listen to this Short Video at Shot Show 2019, They start around 200 Bucks, ALL JAPANESE Glass

The rear objective on most models look fairly large. Seems some bolt rifles may have clearance issues.

Designed for the LR-shooters appears to be nice glass, made back in Japan with their glass, BIL has one on a 22-250, I am impressed with clarity, and built, if I hadn't just bought a Konus I would look at them, don't have any idea how they would work for BP

What im finding is production origin is tied to the price point just like many others. Higher end stuff is assembled in Japan...Lower end China but using lens made in Japan.

You can get several of the upper end models on Amazon at a very good price. They also have a 3x9x40 greatly reduced to $99. Kinda interesting its a 30mm tube and side focus too.

Who wants to be the guinea pig? Even has really good eye relief

It can be found for under $450. Thats a killer price if its made in Japan.

I sent them a message asking about the 3x9x40. I will check one out for that price even if it is a pig of a scope. Not interested though if its made in China.

Well DARN! That makes better sense at the Price they are, I couldn’t find anything bad spoken about them though? Who knows?

Pretty sure at least a couple of the top end models are made in Japan but i didnt ask. I thought that 3x9x40 30mm SF would be fun if it was atleast from the Philippines. I wont buy Chinese scopes

I FULLY agree I wouldn’t have ANY Chinese Made Scope on ANY Rifle i Took Serious
