This was about 35 yds from a TC Renegade .50 with 70 gr by volume of 777 3f and 180 gr Hornady .490 ball. Through both shoulders and lodged under skin.

They have worked for longer than any of us has been here. :lewis:

I own 3 Dedicated Roundball Twist Rifles now (.45, .50, and .54 Cal) They are TON of Fun to Shoot, and Can be just as accurate as my Bullet Rifles When i have everything Right :lewis:

I’ve bought some GM 1:66 dedicated roundball barrels and am building up some guns for them...but one of my renegades just shoots clover leafs with 1:48. Fun to shoot and just busts a deers hiney

I killed 1-2 deer a year with .495 round balls for 30 years before I bought my Wolf. If my eyes were better Id still be using it. Never, ever, ever felt like I was under gunned. I have a Green Mountain 1:66 barrel on it. I stated in other locations on this site I could put any load from 70-100 grains of powder and hit the same point of impact. It was a delight to shoot. I still took it to the deer blind with me this year in case a nice deer came out in broad daylight and close by. Couldn't leave an old friend behind.
