I am certainly not new to muzzleloading or sabots but I have never used a sabot with black powder.
My experience with muzzleloading began with smokeless loads in a savage using sabots. I then transitioned to patched ball shooting with real BP in sidelock guns which to me are just more fun to shoot. With PRB you basically wipe the bore with every shot. With the savage fouling was not really a concern and the bore just needed to be rid of plastic buildup from time to time.
I was curious what the procedure is for using loading round after round of sabots in a traditional muzzleloader. Say if I wanted to shoot some in one of my traditional guns that have an appropriate twist rate.
