I haven’t been able to get a shot at deer with archery tackle for almost 25 years. Just like the Buffalo Bills I finally harvested a nice little one this afternoon.
Barnett crossbow
Hawke crossbow optic

25 years!! Come hunting with me.

Congrats on your deer but don't wait another 25 years for another one.

The original optic in the cross bow package failed and I found the Hawke in a local shop. It has a turret to dial in the yardage instead of three horizontal crosshairs. The accuracy of the crossbow was challenging my skills and extended range sessions was taking a toll on my shoulder. The frog (flipper looking device that holds the bolt) broke with all of the shooting I was doing to be consistent with the equipment. When I replaced the frog I look an afternoon to mount the optic more precisely. I am back to higher than expected accuracy with the package and watch out next season.
