Shooting round balls without patches...does that work?

Trying some shooting of round balls without patches this week. Does that idea work very well ??

Sure can shoot without a patch.
1- Knurl the round ball. Multiple ways of achieving this.
2- Coat with a lube. Your preferred.
3- Roll the ball lightly between two hard surfaces. Filling the voids in the
knurls and removing excess lube.
4- Load and shoot.

Use this order. Do not reverse.

Just remembered, I may have some .451 balls around here somewhere. Pretty sure I have a TC .45 barrel too… I’ll give it a whirl one of these days.
