Slowing down?

I just dealt with this as well, i had just typed out a lengthy Reply and it hung up for what seemed like forever, I finally gave up and Closed completely out (Thank goodness for the “auto save” feature!) i logged back in and was able to reply. I have seen it slow like this a Few times?

 

Same here but it appears to be loading instantly now...

 

There could have been work happening on the server, I'm not sure as I was playing hookie from the internet.

Also, each of you need to go to the little man icon (user control panel) and click on it to get the User Control options.
Click on preferences and at the bottom of the page, you'll see where you can turn off ads, and the right side bar. If those are not seen, it will be less to load each time and should make things quicker for you.

 

Slowed way down again tonight...Angie, do you have any idea why this has been happening lately? I didn't notice it when we first changed over to Xenforo.

 

I don't know why. And I'm not seeing a slowdown so far.
I'm working on getting a server person to check on it.

 

Well...I guess you fixed it by just showing up. LOL! It also posted my above thread three times when I only posted it once. I deleted two of them (see Moderator log).

 

It's afraid of me. Like a car engine that won't start will when the mechanic walks up.

 

I just got out of the site and then reloaded it and it took every bit of 30 seconds to load.

 

What equipment and software? Have to taken any steps to clear cookies, history and cache?
I need to see if I can set something up as you are set up, for testing. And are you on a phone data, satellite or cable?

 

I can list all of this for you but I really don't think it is relevant. Numerous members are having the same problem with different set ups and have cleared cookies, history, cache etc. Which I have done previously and this shouldn't have to be done on a regular basis. This is a server/Xenforo issue in my opinion. I am on Comcast wireless router; Mac Macbook. But have not had any issues up until this week. Something is going on with the server. The rest of you guys chime in.
