WOW, look at the mass. Putting that head on the wall aren't you?
Will be doing a European mount. Normally I would do a shoulder mount, however I have a son in college at this time and we don’t get any financial aid. Mama would kill me if I spent money on a shoulder mount at this point in time. LOL

Great Buckeye Buck!
What county was you hunting?

I'm from Gallia just southeast of there. Heading back weekend after Thanksgiving for Gun season. Can't wait!
Beautiful farm country in Gallia. Lots of public hunting with some big bucks. Wife and I plan on heading to the Bob Evans Farm in Rio Grande one of these days.
Good Luck in Gun Season.

Congratulations! I am heading Belmont County Ohio next weekend. Hopefully some of your luck will rub off on me! lol
I hear there are some good bucks in Belmont County. I would like to hunt there as well. It would probably knock about an hour and a half drive off my trip. Just across the river from Wheeling.
Good Luck with your hunt.

Your talking my neck of the woods now! This year was the 50 year Anniversary of the Bob Evans Farm Festival. I was there last week of Sept\first week of Oct and they were just setting up the tents. There has been some talk that they may stop holding the festival. That would be a shame but the new owners of the Bob Evans Corp have not done good things to the brand. I actually thought they had stopped it but my dad said they were going to have it at least this year due to the 50 year anniversary. So don't wait too long and look for it next year to see if they still have it. I grew up on BE sausage but will not buy it anymore. They got real cheap with it and now it has just too much gristle in it. I think it was YUMM foods that bought it after Bob died. The restaurant (#1) is on the farm, but they tore down the original building and built a new one. Its just not the same to most of us that grew up there. Lots of locals were VERY upset that they tore down the old building. I grew up in that area, our farm is not too far away, and went to Vocational school there in Rio Grande my JR and SR year of High school. I get back there about 3 times a year. We are right next to part of Wayne National Park.

I used to be a big fan of Bob Evans Restaurants. Over the years I have seen the quality diminish as well as some local BE restaurants close up shop. I thought it was due to my area here in Maryland. Last year while hunting in the in Lucasville we went to the BE in Portsmouth, Ohio. Service and food were worse there than I had ever experienced.
Thanks for the heads up about Rio Grande.
