This little guy came by last night. He seems quite educated and comfortable with my backyard. He even came back to get some of the bird seed after he was done with the suet.

Nope, not nervous at all. The next day he came back and chewed up our brand new Oriole/Hummingbird feeder. We will stop feeding the birds for a week or two and hope he moves on.Wow. Didn’t seem to nervous did he. Beautiful yard too by the way.
Yep, neighbors had one get accidently locked in their garage a few weeks back. Destroyed the door to get out.Good Pics, And Video Them Guy’s can get ROUGH on Stuff!

I’m betting you could dispatch him on the grounds of “protecting property” and be fine. Out here, I know you could. I would definitely be getting the bow out.Time for some adverse conditioning......or a bear tag!
Rubber blunts from a bow have the same effect I’m sure.I have similar issues from time to time with various woodland pests, the most effective deterrent I have found is a paint ball gun, preferably full auto set at about 300 fps. A 68 caliber ball at that speed leaves quite an impression and does no harm other than a welt or two, not to mention it's just plain fun.
Great behavior modification tool. Try it.
