okay I finally got it out I had to destroy the bolt so I am in need of another one but I can't find one on the net so I will ask if any one has a lead or Idea or an extra one please let me know thanks

all better now anti seized the bolt, breachplug and the nipple barrel was spotless when my MK-85 gets here ill take some picks can't wait to take them out and make some smoke

I believe it’s closer to a 10-32. I’ll try to remember to check tonight.
I’ve drilled and retapped a few of mine to accept the new quick release, which is a 1/4-32

Would a 1/4 x 20 fit in a 10x32 hole cause the 1/4x20 fit and locked the barrel down fine?

Ok, I thought you were referring to the screw in barrel that holds the bolt from being removed, my bad.
Yes, 1/4-20 x1” is the correct bolt to hold the barrel into the stock.(photo)
This screw is used on every model Knight I have, from original DISC to Mountaineer.
