Its a common term for reloaders of cf ammo . Kinda describes how the tool does it .

Yes center fire . When you turn the lever on a drop tube powder dispencer theres kinda like "paddels" inside like an old mississippi river boat . They "throw" the powder charge . Dispense it really . Thats it . Kinda simplified but you can now get the idea .

I see now, it has and adjuster that goes in it.

Funny how all of us using this method, all have blue painters tape identifying the propellant and drop charge V/W
I use the tape to mark ramrods when testing.

Yes, tape is used to write on here, and there, from time to time, however in this case the tape is holding the drop together...................the powder container wants to come off.

I had one get loose too. I contacted RCBS, they sent me a new one free of charge.
