OK I am getting ready to restock a T/C Renegade with a Pecatonica replacement 1/2 stock. I plan on adding their Hawken style butt plate and toe kick I might even put a silver nose cone on it.
Here is my question, what type and size tools should I start collecting to do this job and hopefully be a good base to do some more complicated kits in the future. Sizes of chisels, gouges, brands anything will help.

Thank YOU

My advice is have Pecatonica put the but plate on it. They did for me and probably a better job than I could do myself.
As for the nose cap you shouldn't need nothing more than some masking tape, a fine saw and some super sharp chisels and a lot of patience. Masking tape to mark your cut line, the saw for the depth around the nose and the chisels to slowly remove the wood constantly checking for fit.
