Trigger assembly spring

Today while working on my Traditions Deerhunter, I removed the trigger assembly and the little wire spring fell out. I can see where there had been a small metal plug that held the spring in place. Don't know where the little plug went, must have fell on the the floor somewhere. Anyway, I was able to fit the spring back where it goes. I thought to maybe place a healthy drop of super glue where the plug had been. I can't see any problem with this fix. Has anyone had a similar issue ?
