I was at Cabelas this week and they are carrying the PR variflame adapters for $22.95. Has anyone tried them and how do they compare with the Kleenbore Rem. primers? I would much rather use the Kleenbore in my Encore and Knights because if you loose one it is no big deal.

Just for the ease of use, I would recommend the Kleenbore primers! If you were not happy with that, I would opt to go for a new breech plug like the .25ACP conversion. That way you could prime up 500 pcs of brass and forget the headache of re-priming 5 to 10 adapters..

Another route, if you are getting alot of fouling, would be to try a different powder! APP and Pinnacle have been mentioned alot lately. Kleenbore primers and a load of APP may be the ticket!
