Was raining a little this morning, off for Veteran's Day, and decided to do a mid-day hunt. I have done this before but not very much. Got in the stand at 9:00 and within the first hour had a 3 point and a shooter (couldn't tell how many points due to being back in the woods) cruise by. At 11:30 this 8 point came in behind me at 48 yards. Picked out a whole in the woods and let him walk into it. Went 30 yards.
