I find myself in the shop dreaming up crappie baits. I made these today after seeing the gut content of the last crappies I brought home a week ago. Last week's fish were stuffed full of nice sized minnows so these baits should be about the right size at 2 1/4". Colors are good for that water too.
We've been getting rain lately. Not enough to do much good but enough to mess up doing anything outside.. And wind. I don't know if Canada blows or Iowa sucks but whatever, we have got wind big time here at home right smack between those two questionable locales.
