I’ve been toying with the idea of buying a BACO dual diameter mold for PP my 45-70. I want to just touch up against the start of the rifling the same way as I do for my GG to give a more consistent velocity. There’s a choice to use .002 or .0015 thick paper. I have an industrial supply of .0015 thick that I’d like to try if I get the mold and of course mold size is dictated by paper thickness. What would you recommend as an alloy to start with or would you stay with pure lead ?
