Halloween dinner:
I hope all the kids show up or I’ll be eating this all week.
2lbs elk burger
1lbs Chorizo
2 bell peppers
5 jalapeño peppers
2 red onions
2 cans pinto beans
2 cans black beans
1 can white kidney beans
1 can white northern beans
Edit: forgot the can of whole corn
2 cans tomato sauce
1 can el Pato hot tomato sauce
2 chili seasoning packets
Brown meat with peppers and onions added, add chili seasoning packets and cover and simmer until veggies are soft.
Dump it all in the crock pot.

Stacy, man, If I ate all those beans and hot stuff, my wife would force me to sleep in the other bedroom, and then I'd probably have to open the windows tomorrow to air it out. :roll:
 
Chili is a Halloween tradition in my house. My wife made us a nice spicy venison chili. I always eat mine over corn chips with cornbread.
 
Cheesy bacon, onion, tater casserole with just a hint of heat from aji amarillo powder.

Deer stew tonight!
1 quart jar of deer meat
1 quart jar of new potatoes
1 quart jar of sauerkraut
1 large bag of frozen mixed vegetables
Season to suit you, because you put in all the work to get this together.

A pan of cornbread or some biscuits go well with this.
You can sub in a bag of slaw mix if you don’t have the homemade kraut.

Not sure this qualifies but Im traveling today. Before I left I put bread in one zip lock and ham and provalone in another. About 1:00 pm I slap the ham and cheese on the bread and keep on working. Cheap and not too bad.
 
I didn’t make this today, I made it a week ago & I'm still eating it for either breakfast or lunch, & I put half of it in the freezer.
I made a huge pot of Mnt Monkeys momma’s Deer Hash.
For the taters all I had was a bag of diced with onions & peppers thst I usually use in my super loaded western omelettes ( which I made yesterday) and it wasn’t enough for all the deer meat do I added a 2lb bag of shredded hash brown taters. I like it with a 50/50 meat n taters & a cpl sweet onions.
I make 3 perfect sunny side up farm fresh eggs to go on top of a bowl of it and dowsed with Boarshead hot sauce & I’m a happy camper.
