$1k is just more than i could afford, or justify to the wife.

I'm not saying a cheaper one can't be found but it takes a lot of time searching the www., local shops, ads, word of mouth, ect. If you want one, keep looking.

So I got my t-bolt today it's super nice basically new rifle so I tried to put a new style 209 primer breech plug in it the one with the spring but it's about .008 thou.too long and the bolt won't close haven't looked at it too much I guess I might be able to take that much of newer plug to get it to fit not sure yet ?

I could be wrong but didn't the spring style 209 go to W series

Yes but I would have thought interchangable but maybe not ??

Yes I see now I didn't note that when I tried swapping them. I'm pretty sure doc updated the plugs to the type that's solid bottom facing powder mine is the hollow type for loose powder

Did you not get a good plug with your tbolt?

I can guess it's good I have to pin gauge it but the gun only has 20 rounds thru it super clean not crazy about white laminated stock it needs glass bedding and float barrel plus I will fit a new thumbhole stock for it so will have two stocks
