Got a line on a Whitetail .451!
Fella bought it new not long after I got my Super 91, He said the action got loose in the stock from recoil i guess or the action screws maybe got loose.
Anyhow, I'm stoked about maybe getting it in my arsenal!
He said he has a bunch of the old super slugs too!
I'll post up if things work out!
Happy Thanksgiving!

Deal went thru!
I don't have it in my hands yet but my buddy picked it up from the original owner.
He said not much in the looks department! It has a spray paint camo job on the barreled action. Hope to make the drive next Sunday to pick up.

Just got home with it. Rattle can paint job but most has flaked off.
Bore is bright! Bedding job looks ok.
It has a pillar in the stock for the action screw. Not sure if that was original or added?

Found a problem in the breech area. Hopefully won’t affect performance.
Tight patch felt the same resistance all the way down the barrel.DA361409-5E2E-49E5-8B7E-DEB162FD5E24.jpeg

I was thinking of trying the Gould bullet from Bullshop. 340-350ish grain.
What do i ask for when contacting them as far as size goes?
