Hi all,
I'm relocating to Ohio in January. I've never hunted wild boar before. OH will essentially be the first state I've lived in that has them. I don't want to overburden anyone since I know can look up general info and tactics elsewhere, but does anyone have any first or second hand information about hunting Buckeye Boars in particular. I'll be in the southwest of the state, around Dayton, if that helps any.
Thanks in advance,
dgfd

I’ve heard stories of Ohio hogs, but never have known anyone to see any, anywhere. If there are some, they seem to be very localized pockets, and judging by pics, they appear to be true domesticated hogs (big floppy ears, not much hair, etc) that have gotten loose, compared to the feral hogs of the south. I’d guess SE OH to be the best bet, but again, not really anything going as far as solid opportunities to hog hunt Ohio that I know. Good luck! And let us know if you do come across some
