It was miserable opening day in Ohio. Cold rain wind and drizzle. Stuck it out and had success. I switched to a 300gr XTP after having a Shockwave pencil through a double lung shot buck last year with very little to no blood trail. I hit a mature doe Monday right in the boiler room and saw her go down after 25 yds. Oh my the blood trail!!!!!! The XTP is an awesome bullet!

Congrats, any pictures? Gotta love them XTP's. I've shot the .430 240 grain with great success.

EXCELLENT Job!! I have shot a Lot of 240 to 300 Grain XTP bullets in .44 Magnum Revolvers over the years and nothing but Stellar results with them! I have always like the XTP Bullets :yeah:

Congrads on the Harvest! :yeah: You sure were right about the weather, It was not great. I too connected down in SE Ohio but it sure was a miserable day due to the wind. Wind was bad for the first 3 days.
