What are everyone's opinions on the .452 300gr XTP vs the .44 240gr XTP? The 240 has a little higher ballistic coefficient and sectional density. Would you have ANY hesitations using the .44 for deer?

If you’re looking for “long range” (talking 250-300 yards here), the 300gr .44 is by far the best of the three discussed here. But all three are more than capable at normal (under 200 yards) ranges without too much difference. Note: These ballistics are based on a 100gr (by volume) charge of BH209

Thank you for the replies as this is for my father. He said that the furthest that he would probably shoot would be 100 yards but looking at the charts and replies from everyone all are more than capable of tha . It will just come down to which is more accurate.
