    I like the composite decking idea as I too will be building a bench this spring. My one concern is heat. We built my Grandma a deck with it and my goodness that stuff was hot. I couldn't imagine leaning my bare arms on it. Granted this was 10+ years ago and she used a much darker color so that could have had something to do with it. Let me know how it feels once it's say in the hot sun for awhile and that may well influence my decision.
