2 Bore Smooth Barrel

I forgot what thread we were using when talking about large calibers but the old-time explorer Sir Samuel White Baker shot a 2 bore. I stole a few photos off another forum that shows one.

A guy here owns one , on recoil he starts running backwards a few steps to stay upright and after maybe three or four steps the recoil will literally swing him around.

Don't think anything that gets hit by a slug from that gun will ever get up again !

Marty the 8 bore fires a 1.326" ball weighing around 3500gr.
