A relative brought over a Antonio Zoli musket (.58 cal) a few months ago and asked that I give it look. What that means is "go through it, clean it, and see if it shoots". He bought it from a friend who was in dire need of cash. Never heard of it and tried to do some research on it first. I can't find much. It has been scoped, side scope. Whoever did it did a good job,.... but my opinion is,... why? If it was mine, the scope would come off. Noticed that the nipple is plugged. Going to remove it and give everything a good cleaning. Anybody have one of these? Got any load data?
Relative is going to make this a wall hanger. Even though I know this, my nature is to clean it up and see if it works.
