Temps were in the mid 40's in the morning and mid 60's in the afternoon. Warm for muzzle loader season in Virginia. My longest shot yet with my CVA Apex 45 cal smokeless muzzle loader using a Leupold VX5HD 3-15x44. Shot was 362 yards. Had a roll in the hill and could only see the bucks neck on up. Aimed for just under his chin and that's exactly where the bullet hit. He piled up where he stood.

The trail cam photo of him was from a few days before. Nice of him to look at the camera while he was walking by!
