Bullet Question?

I know there are many different opinions about the ?BEST BULLET?. I have pretty much decided to shoot Hornady XTPs. My question is, is there any difference in the Bullet/Sabot packages or buying Pistol bullets and a bag of sabots? Seems to me that a box of Hornady 240gr XTPs and a bag of sabots are a lot cheaper than buying a package labeled for muzzleloaders. Are they the same bullet? Thanks.

In the case of Hornady XTP's and Mag XTP'S the bullets are the same as they prepack with sabots.
