According to the video the licenses are easy to purchase?????  I would absolutely love to do one of those hunts before I'm too long of tooth.

OTC are easy. Draw tags take more planning, but not that hard if you're not after a trophy.

I always preferred draw tags. It means you probably won't be overrun with hunters driving 4wd all over the place. It also told me that there were enough quality animals in that unit to give me a good chance.

When I hunted elk, Colo. sold almost all its tags OTC - no limit. I hunted Wyoming where every tag was a draw for non-residents. When I drew a tag, I always got a decent animal.

OTC is for those who don't want to enter the draw. The draw isn't that hard. I've hunted Colorado since the early 50's and never used an OTC tag.

However, lot's of hunters use OTC tags and get elk all the time. Archery is almost 80% OTC tags.
