First Fishing Trip 2007

I'm ashamed to admit that yesterday was my first time out on the water this season. Dang responsibilities are getting in the way of all my FUN!!! :evil:

Jimmy, Very nice lookin stripers and nice blue too. So did you catch the stripes on bait or artificials?

R-man all caught on clams. I was on a buddy's boat, so I grabbed my Penn Power Graph and my Avet MX spooled with 30 lb. Power Pro #40 flurocarbon leader and a 7/0 Gamakatsu for a leisurely day of meat stickin' :wink:

Caught on clams? So let me venture a guess, you just use the meat and use a sliding sinker rig and fish them on the bottom, is that correct Jim?

You got it buddy. About 3-4 oz. of weight on a fish finder rig and 36" fluoro carbon leader.
