This weekend went to the lake. First thing Saturday morning started getting the boat ready for the season. Put main and deep cycle batteries back in. Hooked up the garden hose and started engine and blew the fogging oil out of it. The had to charge the deep cycle batteries which took some time. Finally around 2:30 got out onto the lake. Not really an ideal time for walleye fishing but we were fishing. We just started fishing and my wife and I had a double header. 2 nice keeper walleyes. Then she lost her entire rig to a pike. I got a small baby pike and put it back. Then 2 small walleye which were released and then a walleye sneaking up on 4 lbs. We were out for an hour and a half. Came in and filleted the fish. This is the result

With the fish we had some pan fried potatoes and some tomatoes and onions in vinegar and oil dressing. UMMMMMM :D

It is hard to beat a pan of fried, fresh fish. Good fishing.
