I joined here a year ago (when I bought my younger brothers original 50 caliber Encore - he bought a new ProHunter Encore). I have been doing some reading on in-lines since then. I made my first post last week concerning a scope problem with my Encore (thanks for the answers). I am in my early 50's and have been hunting since I was 7 or 8 but will make my first muzzle loading deer hunt Saturday morning when the eastern NC muzzle season opens (my younger brother has been tutoring me). I am using Triple Seven pellets, WIN Triple Seven primers, and 295 Powerbelt bullets for my hunt, been shooting it and am comfortable with it now (out to 100 yards).

I think I have been bitten by the bug, I was looking at an unshot TC Renegade .50 caliber in the local pawn shop a couple of days ago. Think I will buy that and try a sidelock capfire with real blackpowder and lead bullets next. Odessa
