I bought this nearing 15 years ago best I can remember. I am at least the 3rd owner as the previous owner put on fiber optic sights and the one before that had it scoped.

I have tried to show all imperfections the best that I can and will list them here as well.
1. Three scratches near the butt that are a bit hard to show, but can be seen in the right lighting. There are a couple other small dents from hunting use.
2. Pitting near the breech and also top flat where the scope mount was located.
3. Scars from the guy putting in the front fiber optic blade.
4. Extra sling swivel stud (where I am hanging a leather thong for decoration).
5. Straight hammer was slightly bent over to accommodate the scope.

Overall the finish on the stock is very nice and most of the bluing is great (except for the pitting and discoloration around it as shown). This was a hunter and was used as such, but with pretty good care except for the guy not taking care of the area covered by the scope and around the nipple snail. No cracks in stock at all. Occurred to me that the pic of the T/C rear sight almost looked like a crack at the retaining pin, but it is definitely not.

The best part is the bore is very shiny (blindingly so with the bore light) and still shows some of the original tool marks. I also upgraded the ramrod to the old T/C polymer coated rod with the fiberglass core (Rugged Rod???)

$325 shipped to the continental 48 states. Or trade for CVA Scout V2 in 45/70 that was well-cared-for.

Getting rid of because my daughter is getting very interested in hunting and I want to get her a matching muzzleloader to the smokeless conversion 45/70 CVA that I have.

It has been an excellent shooter with 777 and 300 XTP and 270 Deep Curl .44 bullets in sabots.

More photos in the next post so as not to possibly overload.
