Got me ANOTHER breechloader.
A Feb 1967 production Remington 760, .308 Winchester..308 760s are uncommon around here and this one's in fine shape.
Scored a nice Redfield 70 aperture sight AND a Bausch & Lomb Balvar 8A with mounts for the 760.
Even found a proper magazine! Marked " .308" just like the original.
This one has a good trigger too. Not just 760 good, but a good trigger.
She was the FILTHIEST rifle I've ever seen! Don't believe the trigger unit had been dismounted since she left Ilion. Loaded with weed seeds and both red and orange fuzz. Now that she's cleaned and oiled, SLICK as snot.
Fired cases lack the typical 760 bulge... Bore is bright and shows little use.
