Hornady SST 20ga...Disapointment..

Well the final numbers are out for the 20 ga SST...what a disapointment.

First, as you all know we shoot these exact same bullets (250gr SST's) out of our muzzleloaders, which feature a 1-24 twist barrel, in excess of 2300+ fps on a regular basis...

I also own a 20ga Tar-hunt wich features an almost identical 1-23 twist barrel,(as do many other 20ga's). I really had hopes that Hornady could put together a breakthough with this bullet in a 20ga barrel....

Unfortunately they have not...they only loaded the slug to 1800 fps...a full 200 fps behind their own 12 ga load....!!
