Can't be too careful these days. I got smoked for $200 on SGW a few months ago from some low-life in some 3rd world town in Florida.

Dayum! Not a single definitive telltale sign on the GB page or the business page to alarm me it was a POS scammer

To his point, I missed looking at the gunbroker ad in your original post. I highly doubt there are scammers rolling on GB. They run a pretty tight ship.

Yes - when you search the County assessor’s (appraisers) site the property comes back to the guy who claims to be the owner of the company - a Mr. Moncrief. That combined with his FB page and other sites he looks like a legit business.

Yeah, he's basically a drop-ship broker. Entirely feasible he works out of his home. I exchanged some emails with him today. I came away with the feeling of him being legit.
