I killed a Hog with 45 grains AA 5744 with the Barnes 300 MZ Expanders. Hog offered no refusal! :lol:

I think your load will get the same greeting...with a properly placed shot of course.

I second the properly placed shot! I had no idea where to hit one, even after looking at the anatomy pics without tearing up a bunch of meat. They ARE put together different than deer! I asked Daniel (the guide at Loshbough) where to put the bullet, and he said that I should look for the fold in the skin that runs vertical right in front of the shoulder. Hit the hog about 1/2 way down it's body there in the fold and it's dead. He was right on the money.

Our Spring Hog hunt is approaching almost faster than the speed of time! Hard to believe merely 4 mths down the road!!!

I think my Super 91 will accompany me on the Hunt.... least as of now. :lol:
