The other day I found a box full of what I thought was junk jigs and found these 1/8 Minnow Heads in there that were just like fresh cast so I separated them and gave them an acetone bath. When dry I powder coated all of them with Alewife color Pro-Tec Powder Paint. The color is unique and not what I would call common but in this case its a perfect color to pair with the purple backs and the chartreuse bellies especially when the top and bottom colors fade into the alewife thru the centers. I absolutely love it in this application. I popped on an orange gill patch and silver eyes on some for the camera, then finished them up with a bath of Seal Coat.
I'm thinking these will have to go in my box.....they just look fishy to me.
