I had two of my 58 calibers stocks refinished and just picked them up today. I didn’t like the glossy factory finishes so I had them refinished in true oil.

Tung oil gives a nice dark finish.
I enjoy doing stocks. Its a great pass time.

Yes, I too. The lighter one wouldn’t accept any more stain. He got it as dark as it would go. I’m very happy with both of them.

Can Someone Please help ! I've Been Thinking about loading A 60gr Triple 7 pellet with a 33 gr Tripe 7 Fire star to make a 93gr load in a Thompson Center Encore . Has anyone tried this combination ? Is it safe !

It should be since they’re both T7. I think the blue difference is is the physical shape of each pellet. I’d load the regular pellet first.
