Fresh made hummus, olives, cheeseboard, salami, spicy olives as a nosh with drinks to start

Salmon with a Scotch glaze (1/4 cup Scotch, 2tbsp brown sugar, 2tbsp maple syrup, 1tbsp soy sauce, 1tbsp worstechier sauce, 1/2tsp cider vinegar, drizzle over salmon and wrap in foil and bake at 375 for 18 minutes)
Steak for those of us who don't like fish (me, grilled over charcoal to medium rare)
Lentil/Rice/Onion (recipe already posted here)
Sauteed green beans (little oil, little water, salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, chili powder, hot pan covered until water boils off/steams off then sear/simmer the beans in the oil)

Dessert was wife's home made carrot cake.


Drink offerings included Yuengling beer, Jack Daniels, Johnny Walker Red, Elijah Craig bourbon on the rocks or with a variety of mixers, and Yaucono Puerto Rican coffee....
 
Pot roast using shoulder and shank from whitetail with carrots, onion and celery. Speckled butter beans with diced ham, mashed potatoes with skins, pan fried cabbage with bacon, fried okra, Hawaiian dinner rolls.

Yellow cake with chocolate icing.

Ice tea, water or dark roast coffee
