Hello Mark. Just what is the difference between a tactical and radial muzzle break? Ty

A high quality tactical brake is much better at reducing recoil than a radial. BOTH ARE VERY LOUD.

Just note that shooting sabots through a brake ...... could ....... cause injury to bystanders if they're close. Its the EXACT reason why brakes are NOT allowed at Friendship or any other organized matches. IIRC, it was a radial brake being used and a piece of the sabot went through the brake and hit the person shooting next to them. All brakes were immediately banned from organized matches.
Tactical brakes can be even worse. Its known that when using veggie wads, that the wad can fly out of the brake in either direction, right or left. I know of one person who was shooting next to a building and the veggie wads went into the siding on the building.
Not trying to scare anyone, but just a warning to be careful when at the range.

Notice the sabots in the photo below. One was shot through a radial brake, the other without the brake.
