New Optima V2 - doesn't look like 209 primers fit this breech plug?

Hey everyone - new to the forum. Like my title says, instead of a place to put a 209 there is like a nipple(??) in the breech plug? Anyone know what is going on here? I've been hunting for 20ish years, but never really messed with muzzleloaders until now. Thanks in advance!

You have a northwest legal optima that uses a musket cap ignition that is required for Idaho and Oregon. If you want use a 209 primer you'll need to buy the 209 conversion kit.

That comes with the pellet breech plug. You'll need the blackhorn breech plug to use loose powder, well it's recommended you do.
Thanks for the reply. I actually found a similar answer not long after I posted. Good to know I am good to go in the NW I guess lol ordering that kit now

Thank you!
You are in Oregon and 209 ignition CVAs aren't sold there.
Does the entire Northwest not allow 209 ignition?

Have fun with that sweet new ML. Need more help?...... just ask here.
