couldn't be happier, now if those darn scope rings would get here

Anybody know what the max charge is for magnum muzzleloaders?(40 cal.)
My manual says a max charge of 160 gr. by volume is the max
Seems a bit much however I know some 50's list a max charge of 150 so maybe it isn't that far off after all

as for pics it's not dressed yet I am still waiting on scope bases to mount the scope
recommendations for sight in charges and what would you do as far as finding the favorite load shoot in increments of 10 by volume or less?

I shoot a 425gr conical over 52grW in my ‘pre Perigrine’ prototype Mtnr. So far, no complaints.
40cal 1:16 twist

Can’t wait to see the shot groups on this thing. I was really hoping they offered a Nitride finish for it like the MTNR and UL.

going to sight in the scope and shoot some 2250gr. ELR's and Blackhorn 209
super excited
also have some 195 gr. Lehigh Défense and going to try those as well
