Hello y’all, and thanks for having me. I recently got into muzzleloading and purchased a Knight peregrine. I’m going to be using it for whitetail mostly, maybe a hog or 2, and want to gather as much info about load data and making this rifle lethal out to about 250-300 yards. So any info would be much appreciated
Thanks

Welcome from another Austinite,
I also bought a Peregrine in 2023. I started with BH 209 114 grains by volume and fury 250 grain black tips. For primers I used Federal 209A. I put a 3x9x36 Swarovski scope on it and started the sight in at 40 yards. Moved out to 100 yards and adjusted as needed to hit 2" high. With a centerfire you would be ready to hunt whitetails out to 250 yards, but not with the muzzleloader. You will need to shoot it at different ranges and observe the drop. Also realize it will shoot different on a cold barrel.
Good luck with yours.
Verde
