I shot in my first competition at my home club since being wiped out by the bushfires of 1st Feb last year. My replacement Parker Hale Navy rifle shews promising accuracy. Class 1 military rifle, 50m off hand, 50m snap, 100m bench. I got second in the off hand, first in the snap, did not place in the 100m bench. I was working out the POA, and misread the scope. The rifle will hold 4inches at 100 I believe. I am using a slip fit Burton bullet, about 630 grains with a fairly deep skirt, but a heavy one as I am using 2 1/2 drams( 68 grains) of Wano FFG Unusually for a PH rifle it is bang on the sight a 50m . So a silver medal for me as I got second over all in the aggregate. IMG_0106.jpeg
